Hawaiian Stir Fry

Pineapple sauce:
2 T corn starch
3 T vinegar
6 T sugar
2 T soy sauce
1/2 cup water
Juice from one 20 oz can of pineapple

Combine ingredients in a saucepan and cook until thickened (it thickens quickly). Then add pineapple chunks to the sauce.

Serve over rice with cooked vegetables and steak or chicken.

***Variation: We make hawaiian haystacks and use this pineapple sauce instead of chicken gravy. It is one of our favorites. The recipe for hawaiian haystacks is listed below.
