Hershey's Kisses P'nut Butter Blossoms

normally i don't like these kind of cookies but my sister sent these to me in the hospital and i gobbled the whole plate, could have been because i was eating hospital food and just desperate for something from home but still i thought the cookie was so excellent, moist and chewy. I want to try some different renditions of this recipe maybe substitute the peanut butter for sour cream and turn it into a sugar cookie or even leave the peanut butter in and add cocoa....mmmm try it and tall me what you think!

48 hershey's kisses
1/2 cup shortening or butter
3/4 c. peanut butter
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 egg
2 tbl. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
granulated sugar

Beat shortening and peanut butter, add sugars until fluffy. Add milk, egg and vanilla, beat well then add dry ingredients. Shape into 1 in. balls, the smaller the better, roll in sugar and bake 8min. in 375 oven. Remove from oven and place hersheys kiss in the middle. go to hersheyskisses.com for more recipes!
