Teriyaki Burger


1 1/4 to 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
2 slices of bread, crumbled
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1/4 cup water
1 clove garlic, finely minced
1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
Preparation:
Combine ground beef and remaining ingredients in a large bowl; blend well. Shape beef mixture into 6 patties. Broil for 10 to 15 minutes about 5 inches from heat, turning once. or cook on grill. add a slice of grilled pineapple to serve. Serves 4.
