Homemade 3 Musketeers

This super easy recipe makes a fun simple dessert and is only 3 ingredients!  Not exactly the same taste and consistency of a real 3 musketeer but still delicious.

2 1/2 cups chocolate chips
12 oz. Cool Whip softened
Chocolate candy coating or almond bark

Set the cool whip on counter about an hour before you melt your chocolate.
Melt the chocolate chips in microwave or over double boiler,  make sure to melt the chocolate slowly and stir often to prevent ruining the chocolate.
Make sure cool whip is completely softened, if it is still really cold it will cause the melted chocolate to cool and clump before you can mix it together.
Mix cool whip and melted chocolate.
Pour and spread into a wax paper lined 8x8 or 9x9 pan.  Place into freezer for about 20 minutes or until it is hard enough to cut.
When hard, cut into small squares, place squares on a wax lined baking sheet and place in freezer again for about 20 minutes.
Melt candy coating (make sure not to use melted chocolate chips for this step because it does not dip well) and dip squares in, placing on wax paper to set up.  Store in covered container in the freezer. Yum
