Steak Sandwiches


Oh man we love this, nothin better than steak, peppers, onions and cheese on a toasty bun dipped in au jus.

2-3 Rib Eye steak or other
1 Green Pepper
1 Orange, Yellow, or Red Pepper
1 Onion
6-8 (Hard Sandwich Rolls )something that will soak up the au jus
Cheddar Cheese
mayo
1 package Au Jus Sauce

Spice steak any way you like it. Grill steak on outdoor grill till done. In the meantime; slice peppers and onions and sautee in frying pan with olive oil till desired tenderness. Slice grilled steak into thin pieces and add to peppers and onions. Half the rolls and spread with mayo, then place under broiler or on grill till slightly toasted. Place meat mixture on top of rolls then top with a slice of cheese and heat under broiler until melted. Serve with Au Jus sauce. This is my Taylor's favorite!!
