Mounds Cake


1 chocolate cake mix
1 cup milk
1 cup sugar
24 large marshmallows
1 1/2 cups coconut(I like the finely chopped, macaroon coconut)

Topping:

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. chocolate chips

Make cake mix according to directions on box and bake. Meanwhile; mix milk, sugar and marshmallows together in sauce pan. Heat until marshmallows are melted. Remove from heat and add coconut. Poke holes in cake and spread marmallow mixture over warm cake. In a different sauce pan, combine all topping ingredients except chocolate chips; cook until boiling. Take off heat and add chocolate chips. Stir until chips are melted and then spread over marshmallow topping.
