Peach Cobbler


This is really yummy, I always thought peach cobbler had a hard crusty biscuit on top, not this one, it is more like a sponge cake instead mmmmmm.

1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 quarts home canned peaches

Boil peaches with its juice with 1/2 tsp. cornstarch until thick. Pour in bottom of baking dish. Cream all remaining ingredients together and pour over peaches. Bake at 350 for 50 min. Serve hot and top with ice cream!
