I found this recipe in a taste of home simple & delicious cooking magazine!
We made them this week and we could not stop eating them...they were excellent!
Peanut Butter Cake bars
2/3 c. butter, softened
2/3 c. peanut butter
1 c. sugar
1 c. packed brown sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 pkg. (11-1/2 oz.) milk chocolate chips
1 pkg. (11-1/2 oz.) milk chocolate chips
Cream butter, peanut butter, sugars and egg. Add vanilla, and dry ingredients. Stir in chips.
Spread into a greased 13x 9 in. pan. Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool, cut into bars and eat. Makes 2 dozen.
When I am making desserts for my little family I always half the recipe and put it in an 8x8 pan so that we don't feel obligated to eat the big pan.
As you can tell.....Curt thought they were amazing!ENJOY!!
