Camille's Cowboy Cookies

These make the BEST dough ever. I should know, we probably ate our own weight in this stuff throughout college.

Blend:
2 cups brown sugar
2 cups sugar
2 cups shortening
add 4 eggs and 1 TB sugar

Mix together and then add to sugar mixture:
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. baking soda
4 cups flour

Add 1 large package of chocolate chips and 4 cups regular oatmeal

Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

DELICIOUS!!!

These cookies were in my dreams constantly when I was in college! I was in cowboy cookie heaven every time Camille brought them over to our house! I think I tried making them a million times and they never turned out as yummy as camilles cookies did! My next cheat day I am going to try again to bake these with my kids. I will be thinking about them everyday until then. I still think camille has a secret ingredient that she left out of the recipe. These are sooooo yummy!
