This is an absolutely delicious buttery syrup that is so easy.
1 cup water
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon maple flavored extract or vanilla
2 Tbl. butter (optional)
cinnamon (optional)
1.Bring the water, white sugar, and brown sugar to a boil in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low, and stir in the maple extract; simmer 3-10 minutes depending on how thick you want it. Remove from heat and add butter and cinnamon if desired.
