Lemon Blueberry Loaf

Lemon lovers watch out, this is really more like a pound cake but it is so sinful!  It's a dense lemon bread soaked in lemon syrup then blanketed in a lemon glaze.

2 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
4 ounces cream cheese
3 large eggs
1 large egg white
3 cups flour , divided
2 cups blueberries , fresh or frozen
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 (8 ounce) carton lemon yogurt
2 teaspoons vanilla
cooking spray
glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
3 tbl.  lemon juice
simple syrup:
1/3 c. lemon juice
1/3 c. sugar
beat 1st 3 ingredients at medium speed till well blended
add eggs and egg white
save 2 tablespoons of flour and set aside.
add remaining flour to batter with baking powder,soda, and salt.
add yogurt and mix well.
mix remaining flour with blueberries till coated.
add blueberries and vanilla, mix by hand to incorporate berries without mashing.
bake in 2 greased bread pans at 350 degrees for 50 miutes or till done
cool completely and remove from pan.
In a pan on stove combine sugar and lemon juice, heat till sugar is dissolved then cook 3 more minutes.  Pour over loaves or brush on with pastry brush.
in a small bowl mix lemon juice and powdered sugar till runny and drizzle over loaves.
