Easy Beef Pot Pie

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
4 Tbsp. flour
2 env. dry soup mix (any flavor)
3 cups water
1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen vegetables
1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls

Preheat oven to 375. Brown ground beef with onions and garlic. Drain grease off meat. Return meat to heat. Stir in flour and dry soup mix. Gradually stir in water. Add vegetables. Stir constantly to prevent lumps. Bring mixture to boil. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat and place in ovenproof casserole dish, then separate crescent rolls into individual wedges and arrange on top of stew mix in a pinwheel fashion. Bake at 375 for 15 to 20 minutes.

May substitute stew meat or any lean tender cut of beef, sliced into strips, instead of ground beef.
